A balloon flight experience includes setting up the basket together with the Discover The Sky team, about an hour of flight, during which you will have your pilot’s undivided attention, participation in the landing procedure and a car ride back to the launch field. Extra options can be added at your choice: an aperitif with select Italian wines, an in-flight message, a cake for special occasions, a brunch or an aperitif at our partner restaurant or bar, etc.all reserved for you

Discover The Sky has been founded by Massimo Arnò, a balloon pilot with over 2500 flight hours, who has a true passion for flying and for whom the skies have become his second home.
Our mission is to help you experience the emotions of a balloon flight to the fullest. In person, where there will be just you and an almost surreal silence of the surrounding world, a sense of bonding and tranquillity that we can enjoy so rarely in our everyday life. All this would be definitely lost with 10 or 20 other passengers due to inevitable chat and noise that accompanies a standard flight. All members of our team upgrade their qualifications constantly to keep up the highest levels of professionalism and to ensure maximum flight safety in compliance with ENAC regulations.
Our aerostats are not too big, but the lesser size or the balloon and the basket increase the aircraft manoeuvrability. How much does a hot air balloon ride cost?
Our prices are not a fixed per person rate for any experience, as we propose only exclusive reserved and customised flights in Piedmont, Umbria and Lombardy.

Can anyone fly?
For safety reasons we cannot take on board children under 6 years of age or below 130 cm, pregnant women and persons with reduced mobility who cannot hold on to the basket handles properly.
How long does a balloon flight last?
The flight lasts about an hour but we advise allocating about 3-4 hours for the whole experience, considering the time for the balloon setup, launch, landing and toasts and chat after the flight.
Can you fly in any season?
Of course. You can fly over vivid autumn colours or observe the nature awakening in the spring, feel fascinated by endless candid fields of snow or mesmerised by the first rays of the summer sun.
